Unlock the Potential of Your Assets with Our Expanded Rental Management and Consignment Program!

If your motorhome, travel trailer, fifth wheel, pop-up camper, car, truck, or trailer is spending more time in the driveway than on the road, our rental management and consignment program is the ideal solution to prevent it from collecting dust. We can store, maintain, advertise and rent your RV, vehicle or trailer for you!

LET YOUR VEHICLE, RV, OR TRAILER PAY FOR ITSELF

Whether the costs of ownership have become burdensome, you don't use your asset enough, or you're eyeing a new RV, vehicle, or trailer without committing to monthly payments, our rental management and consignment program has the answer. It allows owners to add their RV, vehicle, or trailer to our diverse rental fleet, sharing the resulting revenue without parting with the keys forever. Units enrolled in our fleet typically generate enough income to offset or entirely cover the cost of ownership.

How Does Rental Management and Consignment Work?

Owners of RVs, vehicles, or trailers in "rentable condition" sign an agreement allowing us to store, market, and rent the unit to qualified individuals. We share the generated rental income 50-50, and you can still use your asset whenever it's not rented. We handle everything from renter screening to maintenance, repairs, and supply coordination. You can enjoy the benefits without the hassle, and there's even an option to authorize us to market and sell your unit for a commission!

    Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on many factors, including (but not limited to) how much you allow your vehicle to be rented, the type of vehicle, market demand and the season. Summer tends to be the busiest season and there are upticks around holidays and events. It also depends on the market rate for your unit. For example, a fifth wheel renting at $195 per night could potentially earn you as high as $35,490 per year!

Payments are made monthly and by direct deposit on the 15th of the month for activity that occurred the prior month. Your payouts will be offset by any amounts owed in your consignor account, which may include for expenses such as insurance, maintenance, etc.

In most cases our maintenance program is stricter than the manufacturer. When a vehicle enters our fleet, we input the vehicle data in our fleet management system. This system keeps track of all activity including mileage, generator hours, and routine scheduled maintenance. We don’t provide the scheduled maintenance, but we will coordinate it for you. Scheduled maintenance costs are your responsibility, but can subtracted from your profits. This system also includes a GPS tracker so when your vehicle is out on a rental we know exactly where it is at all the time. It will even tell us immediately if a renter is excessively speeding, driving too many hours, or going someplace they were not authorized.

In order to protect you, ourselves, and your unit, we thoroughly screen all potential rental customers with a driving history and background check.

In addition to earning an income and offsetting the costs of ownership, units enrolled in our consignment program may qualify for tax benefits including a deduction of expenses, depreciation, and allowances. We recommend you consult with your tax advisor to explain how to obtain the maximum benefit.

We have consignment plans that allow you unlimited use of your unit whenever you like. All we ask is that you either schedule your use in advance, or for a last minute trip make sure your unit is not already booked by a customer. When you do use your unit, you get full VIP concierge service. When you pick up your unit it is washed & detailed, fuel tanks full, and, for RVs, waste tanks drained and water full (if requested) when you arrive. When you return you just park it, take you stuff and walk away – it doesn’t get any easier to own and use your vehicle than that!

We only take non-smoking units, and have a ZERO tolerance policy for smoking. Upon return each unit is inspected for damage or evidence of smoking. Most renters are charged a security deposit, and any damage to your vehicle is quickly and professionally repaired and taken from the security deposit. Any damages in excess of the deposit are still fixed immediately and claimed under the renter's insurance or purchased insurance policy for the reservation period. We do have a detailed checkout process and, for most rentals (except for cars that will not be used for towing) renter educational walk around training on each rental, which greatly reduces the incidents of damage to a unit. If at any time we don’t feel comfortable with a renter we will cancel the rental.

Renting out your vehicle yourself is a lot more work than you may realize. You would be responsible for commercial insurance (your regular insurance will not cover rentals), detailing & cleaning of your unit before each rental, screening potential renters, taking money and deposits, completing a rental contract and doing a checkout with the renter to show them how everything works, advertising, etc. Unfortunately the work doesn’t stop when they leave with your unit, as you must be available to answer your phone 24/7 in case of problems, breakdowns, tire service, and questions about how to operate the vehicle. If the vehicle comes back damaged or something breaks, you have to deal with the customer, insurance, and handle getting the vehicle fixed (all before your next rental). It can be profitable (particularly when you rent 5 or more units out), but most people find it too time consuming and stressful, especially with only one unit available. With only one unit available instead of a full fleet, you also will not be eligible for discounted lead/referral fees, parts and labor, supplies etc.

We accept most late model (less than 10 years old) RVs, automobiles and commercial trailers. Greater scrutiny will be given for gas engines having more than 110,000 miles and diesel engines having more than 150,000.

We do not offer any commercial insurance policy as we are not an insurance company. You have the option to allow us to add your vehicle to our commercial insurance policy (if it is eligible), which permits rentals and will not result in policy cancellation. All renters are required to maintain or purchase full coverage insurance during the rental period for the rental vehicle. Most renters are also required to provide a security deposit up to $2,500.

Absolutely. Even though our consignment program is primarily targeted toward RVs, vehicles and trailers, we will accept most items in our consignment program so long as they are in good condition and meet our other eligibility criteria.
